I recently stayed for a good weekend getaway at this charming motel while exploring the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. The retro vibe adds a unique flair, while the spotlessly clean rooms, complete with a kitchenette and large flat-screen TV, provided all the comforts I needed. The welcoming outdoor barbecue area and cozy garden seating were perfect for relaxation. I was especially grateful for Bec and her husband, who kindly drove me to a nearby celebration when my taxi was delayed. The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to the beach and local attractions.

We stayed for one night during our trip along the Great Ocean Road and had a wonderful experience. The motel was perfectly located just steps from the beach, and our room was clean and spacious. We appreciated the comfortable beds, equipped kitchenette, and convenient parking right outside our door. The staff were friendly and even offered beach towels. It was an excellent value for the price we paid.

The friendly staff made check-in easy, and the location was convenient with the beach just across the road and shops a short drive away.

Everything was first-class here - extremely friendly stuff and huge rooms. Very comfy beds, a microwave oven, a fridge and a writing desk in the room. Superb view of garden. Location next to the highway, comfortable and beaches and amenities. Also, on the wall to the left side of the hand basin...

The toilet was ridiculously cramped, making it uncomfortable to use, and I woke up stiff from that hard bed. Plus, with just one towel for three days and no room service, it felt a bit neglected, honestly.

our room was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. we enjoyed our picnic in the lovely garden area and found the owners to be helpful and friendly. everything was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring local attractions and enjoying the beach.

I had a great experience here! The room was sparkling clean and the shower was perfect. I loved the comfortable bed too. Would definitely come back!

Cozy hideaway for solo time

Spent 2 nights here and it was exactly what I needed. The lady who runs the place was super nice and even let me check in early. My room was warm and secluded, perfect for my solo downtime. Everything was clean, and I had all the crockery and towels I needed. The only thing? The decor is a bit outdated but still comfy enough.

Just a smart choice for a weekend excursion in Rye with fantastic value for money. The room was very clean and had all the basics we needed. Make sure to bring extra coffee and milk if you're planning to stay longer.
